THREE Japanese experts from the Energy Conservation Centre of Japan, (ECCJ) and two representatives from the Asean Centre for Energy (ACE), is conducting an energy audit on two government buildings to promote energy efficiency and conservation.
日本の日本エネルギー保存センター（ECCJ）の3名の専門家と、ASEANエネルギーセンター（ACE）の2名の代表が、政府のビルを視察し、エネルギー効率ならびに節約に関する調査を行った。
The audit which came under the Asean promotion of Energy Efficiency and Conservation (PROMEEC), is one of the activities for the year 2010-2011.
アセアンのエネルギー効率ならびに節約に関するプロモーション（PROMEEC）に基づく調査は、2010年〜2011年の活動の一環である。
The two ministries selected for the energy audit to determine their overall power consumption are Ministry of Defence (MinDef) and Ministry of Finance (MoF).
エネルギーに関する調査は、防衛省（MinDef）ならびに経済省（MoF）が選ばれ、総電力利用に関する調査を行う。
The auditing works which began on September 25 that include an energy audit walk-through and On-Job-Training for the local engineers or officers under the supervision of the Japanese experts, will end on October 3. 調査は9月25日から始まり、日本からの専門家の管理の元、地元の技術者または役人にリハーサルならびにオンザジョブトレーニングが行われた。
According to the Energy Division at the Prime Minister's office, this exercise will also enable them to collect more accurate data and information for better management of energy consumption for the audited buildings. 総理大臣下のエネルギー部門によると、これを行うことにより、より正確なデータや情報の収集が可能となり、調査された建物の更なるエネルギー消費管理を行えるようになる。
The information will be very useful in order to help identify the present energy consumption profile and setting up a benchmark as a target for improvement, it said. 収集された情報は、現状のエネルギー消費動向ならびに、改善に関する目標の設定に役に立つと発表している。
At the end of energy audit, the Japanese experts will make recommendations to the respective top management of the audited buildings.
エネルギー調査後、日本からの専門家が各ビルの管理責任者に対し、アドバイスを行う。
While conducting the energy audits for the ministry buildings, the experts will do a follow-up survey at Institute of Technology Brunei (ITB) previously-implemented in 2008. 本エネルギー調査を省庁の建物に実行しながら、専門家がブルネイ工業大学（ITB）に於いて2008年に施行された、その後のフォローアップ調査を行う。
The follow-up survey of the previous energy audit at ITB building will include the reporting on the progress in improvement recommended by the Japanese experts or identification of problems encountered for their implementation. ITBビルに於ける、前回のエネルギー調査のフォローアップ調査の結果には、日本の専門家よりの改善に関するアドバイスまたは施行に関し、直面した問題点が含まれる。
Meanwhile a seminar cum workshop will be conducted on October 2, where Asean experts from Singapore and Thailand will be conducting the programme.
10月2日には、シンガポールならびにタイよりのAseanの専門家がプログラムを実行するワークショップが開催された。
